Meet the Experts
Phil Boileau
Principal and Lead Consultant
Phil originally hails from Detroit, and graduated from the University of Michigan in 2005. Early on, he started a house painting company with friends and worked in the entertainment industry in New York and LA before pivoting to the legal services industry, where as billing manager of a Steno agency, he developed a process to accurately issue up to 15,000 invoices each year. It was this “database project” that inspired his current path. He’s since worked on his own, developing systems for dozens of businesses and nonprofits. He’s expertly proficient in Salesforce, Excel, Airtable, Zapier, and a multitude of form tools, listservs, and nonprofit-specific CRMs.
Phil is proud to be a generalist. He takes pride in quickly deconstructing new industries with fresh eyes, and meets his clients on their own terms. Phil is happily married, has a fantastic baby daughter, and loves Salt Lake City, where he now lives.
Katie Jumbe
Project Manager
Katie lives in Minneapolis, MN. She holds a master’s degree in education and worked for more than 15 years in higher education and the nonprofit sector. She has experience working directly with young adults, managing college access and workforce development programs, and raising funds from individual and institutional donors.
She also served in multiple organizations as an informal, in-house database administrator. It was a role that grew from necessity, and from her belief that a healthy CRM is a powerful driver for program quality, efficiency, and efficacy. This was how she met Phil! Her nonprofit and education background allow her to translate clients’ needs into highly functional systems that are easy to adopt and maintain, empowering organizations to do their best work.
